CLINICAL TRAINER (LASER DEVICES) | HYBRID, SYDNEY

Position: Clinical Trainer | Hybrid, Sydney

Employment type: Casual Contract (Per Diem) Work is offered on an as-needed basis, typically 1–2 days per week, depending on demand. Ideal for candidates looking for flexible, supplementary work.

We are currently partnering with a leading organisation within the medical aesthetics industry to appoint an experienced Clinical Trainer with strong hands-on expertise in skin treatments and advanced aesthetic technologies.

This is a flexible, contractor-based opportunity suited to a confident clinician who enjoys education, training,

and working closely with aesthetic professionals across a variety of clinic settings.

The Role

As a Clinical Trainer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based training to aesthetic practitioners. You will support clinicians in developing their knowledge, confidence, and capability to deliver safe and effective treatments. This role combines hands-on, in-clinic training with ongoing clinical support and education. A strong foundation in skin science is essential, along with the ability to adapt training to suit varying levels of experience.

Key Requirements

  • Deliver engaging, practical training sessions to nurses, dermal clinicians, and medical professionals

  • Provide hands-on, in-clinic education to ensure safe and effective treatment delivery

  • Support clinicians with treatment protocols, patient selection, and best practice

  • Act as a trusted clinical expert and point of contact for ongoing support

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, clinical advancements, and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Dermal Science is highly regarded (minimum Diploma in Beauty Therapy required) or a Nursing qualification is highly regarded.

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in aesthetic or dermatologic treatments (including laser/energy-based treatments)

  • Must have ABN, Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) Insurance & Public Liability Insurance

  • Strong understanding of skin anatomy, physiology, and common skin conditions

  • Previous experience in training, education, or mentoring within aesthetics

  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills

  • Ability to engage and educate practitioners across varying experience levels

  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

  • Availability to work on a casual/per diem basis
