Southern Dermatology is a specialist medical centre providing expertise in all skin related concerns, for adults and children in the Southeast of Melbourne. Our team of Dermatologists, Registered Nurses and Dermal Clinicians have been trained in Australia to ‘gold standard’ levels and have gone on to complete further medical and laser training to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care.
We are now seeking an experienced Cosmetic Nurse to join our purpose-built Dermatology and Skin Centre, working alongside the highly regarded dermatologist Dr Ryan De Cruz and a collaborative team of Dermatologists, Cosmetic Nurses, Dermal Clinicians and practice nurses dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and confident Cosmetic Nurse to integrate into a respected dermatology practice and play a key role in delivering advanced aesthetic treatments.
The successful candidate will be proficient in anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal filler and biostimulator treatments, with the ability to provide safe, natural-looking results tailored to each patient.
While the primary focus of the role is cosmetic injectables, knowledge or experience with laser and advanced skin treatments is highly regarded, particularly within a dermatology or medical skin environment.
You will work closely with our dermatologists and clinical team to ensure patients receive a comprehensive and results-driven treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Perform cosmetic consultations and develop personalised treatment plans
· Deliver advanced injectable treatments including anti-wrinkle, dermal filler and biostimulators
· Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold best practice standards in cosmetic medicine
· Collaborate with dermatologists and clinical staff to support integrated patient care
· Educate patients on treatment options, expectations and aftercare
· Support the clinic’s cosmetic service growth through exceptional patient outcomes
· Participate in ongoing education and professional development
About You
We are looking for a confident and experienced Cosmetic Nurse who demonstrates:
· Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
· Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a cosmetic nurse
· Must have proven experience and proficiency in anti-wrinkle injections, dermal filler and biostimulator treatments
· Strong consultation skills with the ability to develop tailored treatment plans
· A patient-centred approach with excellent communication skills
· A commitment to clinical excellence and ethical practice
· Knowledge of lasers and advanced skin treatments (highly regarded)
