The One Clinic Agency is proud to partner with The Skin Health Institute in the search for an experienced Cosmetic Nurse to establish a new Dermatologist Led, Nurse Delivered Cosmetic Clinic.
With a 39-year history in medical dermatology, the Skin Health Institute is recognised as one of Australia’s leading centres of excellence in dermatology and skin health. Home to 22 clinics, 6 day-surgery theatres, and a multidisciplinary network of dermatologists, plastic surgeons, nurses, and allied health, this is a unique opportunity to be part of the Institute’s first formal expansion into cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology.

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and entrepreneurial Cosmetic Nurse (RN) who is excited by the opportunity to lead, grow, and help establish a new aesthetic offering within the Institute.
Working within a Dermatologist Led, Nurse Delivered model, this role will be hands-on, focused on cosmetic injectables, laser treatments, and other aesthetic therapies, while also playing a key role in driving the service forward operationally and commercially.
This position would suit a confident injector who enjoys autonomy, has strong interpersonal and business development skills, and is excited by the opportunity to grow something from the ground up with the backing of an established medical institution.
The successful candidate will work closely with dermatologists and medical specialists, with doctor-led scripting and clinical oversight available via in-person and telehealth support.

Key Responsibilities
● Deliver safe and evidence-based cosmetic treatments including anti-wrinkle injections, laser therapies, light-based treatments, and other aesthetic procedures within scope of practice
● Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, assessments, treatment planning, informed consent, and clinical documentation
● Monitor patient outcomes and provide exceptional post-treatment care and follow-up
● Build strong patient relationships while driving patient experience, retention, and clinic growth
● Recognise and appropriately manage adverse events or treatment complications
● Maintain the highest standards of infection control, patient safety, and clinical care
● Work collaboratively with dermatologists and the wider clinical team to support integrated patient care and treatment planning
● Support the establishment, growth, and ongoing success of the cosmetic clinic
● Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary discussions
● Provide patient education regarding treatment options, expectations, risks, aftercare, and outcomes
● Contribute to the implementation of new technologies, treatment protocols, and cosmetic services
● Ensure all treatments and care are delivered in accordance with AHPRA guidelines, NMBA professional standards, and clinic policies and procedures
● Stay up to date with emerging technologies, techniques, and best practice standards within cosmetic and aesthetic medicine
Requirements
● Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
● Minimum 3 years’ experience in cosmetic nursing and aesthetic treatments
● Proven experience performing anti-wrinkle injections and other cosmetic injectable treatments
● Experience with laser and light-based therapies highly regarded
● Strong consultation, assessment, and treatment planning skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients
● High level of professionalism, clinical confidence, and attention to detail
● Strong understanding of patient safety, infection control, and clinical governance principles
● Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a multidisciplinary team environment
● Experience working alongside dermatologists, cosmetic physicians, or specialist medical teams highly regarded
● Leadership qualities with the ability to contribute to clinic growth, mentoring, and service development
● Passion for aesthetics, patient care, and ongoing professional development
● Business acumen, initiative, and a proactive approach to growing patient relationships and clinic success
● Commitment to delivering treatments in line with AHPRA guidelines, NMBA standards, and best practice cosmetic medicine protocols
