The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dermal Therapist to join the team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in performing advanced skin treatments, thrives in a team environment, and values building authentic, long-term client relationships.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality treatments, supporting client outcomes, and contributing to a positive and proactive clinic culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of advanced dermal treatments, including:

  • Chemical Peels

  • Skin Needling (Microneedling Pen)

  • Plasma Pen

  • Plasma Cool Jet

  • LED Therapy

• Conduct thorough consultations and create tailored treatment plans

• Educate clients on skin health, ingredients, and homecare recommendations

• Build strong, genuine relationships with clients through warm and professional communication

• Conduct follow-up calls to support client results and retention

• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional clinic environment at all times

• Work collaboratively with the team and proactively support colleagues

• Contribute ideas and suggestions to support business growth and improvement

Requirements

• Essential to hold a Diploma of Beauty and Associate Degree or Bachelor of Dermal Science is highly regarded

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a clinic environment

• Experience performing advanced skin treatments and use of devices

• Strong organisational and time management skills, clear communication with clients is paramount

• Applicants must be well versed in emerging trends and treatments, with the ability to confidently advise on service offerings including what to refine, retain, or introduce to support business growth.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Must have a strong, in-depth understanding of skincare ingredients and their benefits, with the ability to confidently educate and guide clients on selecting the most suitable products based on their individual skin needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and develop strong, long-term client relationships.
