The Role

We are seeking an experienced Dermal Therapist to perform advanced skin consultations and treatments including laser, skin needling, corrective skin therapies and Platelet Rich Plasma and hair loss treatments.

This role is ideally suited to someone who is clinically confident, highly professional, and comfortable managing a mature demographic with high expectations and complex skin concerns. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to confidently guide clients through their skin journey with empathy and professionalism.

Experience in advanced skin and laser technologies, particularly devices such as Excel V+, Pico lasers, and other corrective skin platforms, will be highly regarded. Experience performing skin needling, creating customised treatment programs, and familiarity with Ultraceuticals products and protocols is also highly valued. A strong understanding of rosacea, pigmentation, and overall skin health management will be beneficial within this client demographic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive skin consultations and treatment planning

• Perform laser treatments, skin needling, and advanced skin therapies

• Develop customised treatment programs and homecare recommendations

• Build long-term relationships with clients through education and trust

• Confidently manage client expectations and treatment outcomes

• Maintain exceptional treatment standards and patient care

• Work collaboratively within a professional clinic environment

• Contribute positively to clinic culture and patient experience 

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Dermal Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or related field

• Minimum 2 years+ experience performing laser treatments and advanced skin procedures

• Experience with skin consultations and treatment planning is essential

• Strong communication and consultation skills

• Excellent spoken and written English

• High emotional intelligence and confidence managing mature clientele

• Professional, polished, and culturally aware approach to patient care

• Passion for skin health and ongoing professional development

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Availability to work 2–3 days per week, including a fortnightly Saturday
